    The King George County Administration Office (EDA and Tourism Board) proudly announces a new Small Business Awards Recognition program in 3 categories that include service, tourism and product areas. Businesses in KGC can sign up on the KGC web site under Economic Development & Tourism with 3 options on an entry form (soon to come) to enter the program by peer, customer or self-nomination. First prize is $ 500.00, second is $250.00 and 3rd is $100.00. All winners also receive a plaque that will be presented at the Small Business Appreciation Week in May 2019.

    Let the Rappahannock United Way help you file your taxes for free! Volunteers will be here from 12 PM to 4 PM on the following dates: February 1, February 15, March 1, March 15, March 29. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis for those with a household income of $66,000 and below. Don't Forget to Bring: Income Forms (W2s, 1099s), Photo ID (for each person filing), Social Security Card (for each person filing and all dependents), Household Health Insurance Coverage Information (1095s), Copy of 2017 Federal & State Tax Returns.
