Volunteering to Assist in Emergencies

CERT (Certified Emergency Response Team) 

A team of certified and trained volunteers that can assist fire, emergency medical, rescue, and emergency personnel in carrying out their responsibilities.

Assist With Snow Removal/Transport

In snow/ice emergencies, Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services may need assistance in clearing subdivision so emergency equipment (fire and medical equipment) can have access to all residences.

Assist in Removing Trees Blocking Roads

In snow/ice emergencies and wind related events, Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services may need assistance in clearing roads into subdivisions so emergency equipment (fire and medical equipment) can access to all residences and businesses.

Assist in Shelter Operation

In disasters resulting in emergency evacuation and sheltering of citizens, the Department of Social Services may need assistance in operating emergency shelters.

Assist in Debris Removal

After snow/ice emergencies and wind related events, Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services may need assistance in clearing and removing debris from roads and property necessary to provide for safety of citizens and businesses.
