4. How do I add the county site's calendar to my personal digital calendar?
iCalendar allows users to import internet calendars and/or events into their personal calendar applications like Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal and Google Calendar. Use the following directions to add the county's iCal to your personal calendar.
- Right click and select "Copy link address" from the link below.

- Find where to add a new calendar—usually "Add Calendar" or similar
- Select "Subscribe from web" or similar
- Click into the text box and hit "Ctrl" + "V" on your keyboard to paste the iCal link
- Title the calendar "KGVA Government" or similar
- Select your preferences for the calendar color, icon, location, etc.
- Click "Import" or similar
NOTE
iCal is an RSS feed, and RSS feeds can take up to two hours to update.
If you are concerned your personal calendar may be out of date, check the county's calendar on the website to confirm the event details, or call 540-775-9181.
