    King George County and King George VFW Post 12202 coordinate a wonderful event for all ages each year on the first Saturday in May. The event celebrates community with the VFW's birthday, honoring veterans, and the recognition of families who serve with King George Social Services, as well as highlighting the wonderful amenities of King George Parks & Recreation. The event has something for everyone!

    King George County reserves the right to prohibit items being sold or displayed at/for King George County sponsored events and programs. Exhibits, vendors, and items that may be detrimental to, reflect poorly on, or are inconsistent with the goals and themes of King George County or its events or programs, as determined by King George County staff in its sole discretion, will not be permitted. Any suggestive, obscene, or vulgar language (displayed, printed, or spoken) on any products will be declined as vendors. 

    King George County reserves the right to cancel the event due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The undersigned has read all regulations and information pertaining to participation in King George Family Day event and hereby waives and releases all legal and equitable rights to all claims, damages, and expenses against King George County and the King George VFW Post 12202, its departments, officials, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability for damages or injury incurred during participation in the King George Family Day event.
