Overview
The Rappahannock Juvenile Center (RJC) is located in Stafford County and serves the Fredericksburg area. It provides counseling services for juvenile individuals experiencing crises or substance abuse, as well as secure incarceration for court-ordered youth. The RJC Board determines the finances and budget and is composed of staff from regional localities. Members serve four-year terms and are appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
