Overview
The Rappahannock Emergency Medical Services Council (REMS) has been providing EMS training to first responders in the Fredericksburg region since 1976. Since its establishment, it has exercised considerable influence in advancing EMS curriculum and legislation in Virginia. The Council is composed of both career and volunteer emergency services professionals who facilitate and develop training for the region. Members serve three-year terms.
